I’m Allison. A book-lover from an early age. As a kid, I was always reading or writing a story in a yellow Steno pad. I was an English major in college with a creative writing minor. (My favorite book is Til We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis.) After working in marketing for almost 5 years, I became an English teacher and now I real all the time!
In 2008, I started my quest to read all of the Pulitzer prize-winners in the Novel and Fiction categories. (The Novel category was renamed Fiction in 1947; hence the two lists.) This blog serves as a way for me to summarize and review the books. Hopefully it will also be a place people can have their appetites whet for these great books.
Happy reading!

Hey there! So it’s true — great minds do think alike. Me and my partner and crime, Dreadful Penny, have been blogging about this here very topic, too. It’s fun to find another person reading some of these early books also. Maybe someday we can guest blog for each other.
Good luck and happy reading*.
